Life in the local congregation is where I find my adventure in ministry. From the Sunday School classroom to the worship service, it is such joy to consider God’s word and digest its meaning for our day and circumstance. From the committee meeting to the realized program and mission endeavor, it is such a wonder to see God’s people come together and respond to God’s grace in their lives. From the renovated nooks and crannies of a church building to the flow of visitors, members and friends through its hallways, it is a wonder to experience God’s renewing and resurrecting energies.
Mainline churches enjoy a longstanding vitality and their current challenges are but an adventure into God’s providence.
